Juan Chavez
MotorsportEngineer’s Academic Coordinator
Juan Chavez is the Academic Coordinator at MotorsportEngineer.net and a Mechanical Design Engineer at GE Vernova, working on the design and development of advanced mechanical systems for the energy industry. He has developed a strong passion for motorsport engineering through his academic background, professional experience, and involvement in the motorsport community.
Juan holds an MSc in Motorsport Engineering from Oxford Brookes University and has gained practical motorsport experience as an Aerodynamic Surface Engineer at Elektron Motors, working on aerodynamic design and development projects. Through his journey across industry, motorsport, and education, he has gained valuable insight into engineering career pathways, technical portfolio development, and the skills required to stand out when pursuing opportunities in motorsport and Formula 1.
