ATLAS (Advanced Telemetry Linked Acquisition System) captures, distributes, visualises and processes data.

What you'll learn:

  • Key principles and knowledge needed in Formula 1 race engineering, including aerodynamics performance and setup, mechanical performance, control systems, instrumentation and data logging

  • How to optimise race strategy using data-driven decision-making, taking vehicle performance, circuit characterisation, and driver feedback into account and through tools such as ATLAS software

  • Demonstrate problem-solving abilities in responding to changes in race conditions and develop validation programs for race car elements

  • How to communicate like a race engineer: effective problem-solving, coaching, and people skills needed in an F1 context
