Webinar: Computational Performance: Precision Aerodynamic Mapping for Motorsport

with Ivor Annetts (Bramble CFD Managing Director)

About the event

Join this FREE live webinar to learn about Computational Performance for Motorsport Aerodynamic Mapping. In the competitive world of motorsport, understanding your vehicle’s true aerodynamic performance is essential.

This webinar will explore cutting-edge techniques for generating highly precise aerodynamic maps using advanced 3D scanning and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Participants will learn how teams can move beyond generic aero models to create bespoke, detailed simulations that capture the unique dynamics of their specific racing cars.

We’ll delve into:

  • The process of high-precision 3D vehicle scanning
  • How CFD platforms like Bramble transform raw scan data into actionable aerodynamic insights
  • Techniques for simulating real-world vehicle dynamics, including ride height, yaw, roll, and cornering
  • Real-world applications of track-ready aerodynamic analysis
