Masterclass - Setup to Simulation: How We Model a Formula 1 Car

with Ivor Annetts (Bramble CFD Managing Director)

About the event

Join this FREE live masterclass to explore the real engineering decisions behind CFD analysis of an F1 car. This session focuses on the practical setup choices that shape aerodynamic results, often more than people expect, from meshing strategy to turbulence modelling, solver settings, and how to prioritise computational effort across the full vehicle.

Led by Ivor Annetts, Managing Director at Bramble CFD, this masterclass takes you inside the mindset of a CFD professional working with motorsport-level workflows. Instead of diving deep into theory, Ivor will share what typically works in real projects, what doesn’t, and why small setup mistakes can lead to major aerodynamic consequences.

Whether you are a student, engineer, or motorsport enthusiast, this is a rare opportunity to learn from someone with hands-on experience in delivering CFD results that teams can actually trust and act on.
