Join this FREE masterclass recording from a live session held in early March, originally delivered exclusively to selected MotorsportEngineer students, to explore how lap time simulation can directly influence real race car performance. While the live session allowed those students to participate and interact during the event, this recording now makes the full session available to the wider public. The masterclass features a demonstration of how simulation supported the Tanuki Pro Class victory at the World Time Attack Challenge 2025, showing how engineers can use powerful tools to optimise performance before going on track.

Led by Danny Nowlan, owner and director of ChassisSim Technologies, the session walks through a real world workflow in which ChassisSim was used to maximise the Tanuki race car’s performance, culminating in its Pro Class win. Danny presents a practical demo of how lap time simulation helps evaluate setup changes, understand vehicle behaviour, and identify the most effective paths to lap time improvement.

Whether you are a student, engineer, or motorsport enthusiast, this is a rare opportunity to see how professional engineers use simulation tools to guide performance decisions and maximise competitiveness in top level racing.
