Aero Design in F1: Front Wing
Design, analyze and refine a modern F1 front wing using professional team methodologies
Course Description
This course is designed for engineers/students that want to learn from scratch the basics of aero design in motorsport. Taught by Daniel Vass, a freelance design engineer with experience in Formula One, Le Mans Hypercars (LMH), and hypercar development, it focuses on the complex surfacing challenges involved in high-performance open-wheel race cars, particularly in the front wing assembly. Students will develop the speed and precision required to work at the highest levels of motorsport, aiming to model surfaces at 70-80% of professional industry speed. The course also includes a shuffle of different F1 regulations, taking the most interesting and complex features from each regulation to maximise your learning experience.
This self-paced program features pre-recorded sessions, allowing students to learn at their own speed, ideal for professionals and experienced designers looking to sharpen their expertise without scheduling constraints.

The best CAD course ever made
Luca Gravante
This course teaches you a wide range of methodologies for comprehensively designing an F1 car (parameters, surface quality, etc.), and everything you learn from designing the underbody can be applied to designing the entire car. Every aspect of the design process is covered throughout the course (aspects not covered in any other course and often overlooked in companies for various reasons), so even users with years of experience can learn a great deal. For anyone who truly wants to become a "Good Designer" or improve their skills, this course is highly recommended!
