Courses in this Package
Gain insight into the role of an Aero Designer within F1
This course focuses on Aerodynamics in Formula 1. Delve into the collaborative process between Aero Designers and Aerodynamicists and get insights into the intricacies of Aero development.
Explore the pivotal role of an Aero Designer in Formula 1, understanding their responsibilities and the critical performance factors that drive Aero advancements. From conceptualization to production, an Aero Designer influences every stage of development, making this role integral to a racing team’s success.
In this course, you will learn about aspects of the job that are not so openly discussed, along with exploring the design considerations for complex parts. You will explore these design considerations and get hands-on experience with CATIA by designing a Side-Wing Element.

Learn how to design a Bodywork of a Formula 1 car
Uncover the secrets behind the sleek and aerodynamically advanced bodywork that defines the cutting edge of motorsport in this self-paced course. The bodywork – one of the most critical, but often underrated, components of an F1 car – determines the performance of the rear wing, rear break ducts and diffuser too!
Throughout this comprehensive course, participants will dive deep into the world of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) using industry-leading CATIA V5 software to create an F1 bodywork from scratch.
The curriculum goes beyond theoretical knowledge, providing hands-on experience in designing a complete F1 car bodywork. Engage in practical exercises that mirror the challenges faced by professional Aero Designers in the field.

The course you need to become a Formula 1 Composite Design Engineer
Composite parts can be found all the way through a Formula 1 race car – from safety to performance features, and everywhere in between. Without composites, the cars we see today would not be able to deliver the levels of performance or robustness we now take for granted.
In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of composites and Composite Design, what it’s like to work as a composite design engineer, the day-to-day responsibilities and operation within an F1 team, along with tips about how to become a Composite Design Engineer.
You will also receive industry-level guidance and get hands-on with modelling a component, mould and pattern using industry-leading CAD package CATIA.
