About the Speaker

Jean-Baptiste Janssens

Performance Engineer at Automobile Club de l'Ouest

Jean-Baptiste holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers in Paris, France.

He began his career at PSA Peugeot Citroën as a Research and Development Engineer. He has worked for companies such as Skoda Motorsport and Citroën Racing in roles in research and development, performance, and testing.

Jean-Baptiste spent almost 6 years at Toyota Gazoo Racing Europe, where he worked with LMPH-1 cars as a senior performance engineer and vehicle specification group leader. He then moved to the Nissan Formula E Team in 2020, where he was head of Simulation and R&D. He has been a performance engineer at ACO since 2023.
