Decoding F1 Underfloor Aerodynamics: Floor Fences

Featuring David Felis (ex-F1 Aerodynamicist)

About the Event

Join us for an exclusive webinar hosted by Motorsport Engineer and ex-F1 aerodynamicist David Felis, designed specifically for aero enthusiasts, engineering students, and aspiring motorsport professionals.

Dive deep into the science of F1 underfloor aerodynamics and uncover how floor fences can make or break performance on the track. In this webinar, we will explore the innovative design features of the 2022 F1 floor and the impact on race car performance.

The session will explore the role floor fences play in influencing aerodynamic efficiency and handling. We’ll also get technical with a focus on geometries and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis using Bramble CFD, giving you an in-depth understanding of performance aspects.

Don’t miss this opportunity to gain insights from an aero expert and elevate your understanding of F1 aerodynamics. Register now to secure your spot!

This webinar uses Bramble CFD software – learn more about Bramble in our June 2023 webinar here.
